Why am I Blogging?

This jumbled assortment of writing is my blog, where I attempt to make sense of what I feel to be noteworthy topics worthy of academic discussion and analysis. Serving as intellectual memoir of sorts, it is also aimed at chronologically portraying my ever-changing ideological dispositions. Knowledge should be liberating and fluid, a process of enlightenment and heightened consciousness, that transcends the perceived "normal" bounds of the limited academic inquiry seen in the classroom. It should be welcomed, as a means of improvement, and it should be cherished, as a measure of worth. In an attempt to circumscribe my thoughts, and channel this philosophy, I publish my writings on this blog to measure my progression of ideas and to circulate certain concepts that I deem worthy of discourse. The topics covered range from political economy to philosophical musings to concrete historical analysis, in an effort to comprehend the proper social mechanisms that drive development and stimulate change.
